Bio
Scott Elmore heads into his 4th year as head coach of the varsity girls lacrosse program. The 2025 season was the most successful in VS girls lacrosse program history, finishing with a 10-5 overall record, 3rd place in district, hosting a playoff game for 1st time ever and winning a playoff game for first time ever. This will be Coach Elmore's 32nd year coaching high school girls lacrosse in Houston. He played college lacrosse at Baylor University before starting the girls program at Memorial HS here in Houston where he coached for 19 years including one state championship and another state semifinal berth; he then went to Stratford HS where they advanced to state semifinals once and state quarterfinals twice during his tenure before coming to Village School. When he isn't coaching or officiating lacrosse, he teaches business classes and is the department chair of the Career and Technology Education department at Stratford High School.
